FAQ
How do I book a session?
You can send us an email or call to inquire about dates. I prefer to talk with you in person over the phone to discuss details, so if you have questions, please call. Once we confirm the session date, we send you an email with the contract and invoice. We take the signed contract and a 50% deposit to secure your date, after which, you are booked! The remaining balance is due the day of your session.
Do I have to wear lingerie? Do I have to take off my clothes?
Absolutely not. Our sessions are about celebrating you and are dictated by what you want to share. You can wear anything you like: a little black dress, a flowy skirt, his shirt, or the cotton tank and panties you wear to bed. We prefer pieces that represent who and how you are, so don’t go out to buy something you’ll never wear again. We permit up to 3 outfits per session, so check our wardrobe page for more ideas.
What is included with the professional hair and make up?
Make up includes eyes, lips and lashes and hair includes curling/style. We ask that you come with your foundation done because you know how to do that best. And with your hair dry and washed the day before.
What is included in the shoot? How much?
We have different collections at different price points. However, collections start at 295 and each includes consultation, professional hair and make up (as outlined above), a one hour intimate photography session with up to 3 outfits, post production/editing on the images, a Viewing & Ordering session where the finished images are revealed to you, a $50 print credit and low resolution images of everything you purchase. High resolution images, prints and albums are available for purchase during your Viewing & Ordering session.
What is the difference between low resolution and high resolution?
Resolution refers to the amount of dots or pixels per inch in digital images. In order to have a high quality print, there needs to be enough detail, or dots per inch in the image. This is what we call high resolution. A lower resolution image has fewer dots per inch and will therefore print ‘blurry’ or ‘pixellated’ because there are not enough dots to show all the detail in the image. Low resolution images are created for faster web loading, so they are optimal for screen or digital usage.
Location, location, location. Where is the location of the shoot?
We do most of our shoots at Jackie’s home studio in Old Towne Orange with address and directions provided upon booking. We absolutely do shoots on location, or away from the studio if you so desire though sometimes location scouting and an additional fee may be required.
I am nervous! Do you have any tips?
Jackie’s forte is making people feel comfortable in front of her camera. So fret not, when the shoot day comes, you will be more relaxed and have more fun than you could have imagined. We also have some tips in preparing for your shoot which will be sent to you upon inquiry.
